Your Father has called you to Himself through Jesus Christ. Over the years, whether you believe it or not, He has been grooming you for His perfect plan to be fulfilled in your life. All of what you have been going through, all of your seeming failures, successes, challenges, and side roads are really credentials you have gained and courses you have completed. You have learned about submission, repentance, forgiveness, and love.

It is now your season to flourish if you choose to submit to the power of the Holy Spirit to move on your behalf. Your rock solid awareness that the highest form of wisdom you can have is the full understanding of your desperate need of God to move on your behalf is heavenly wisdom. What Do You Expect ?

What do you expect? You are a blood bought child of God. Jesus spent His entire life on earth for your benefit. He and Father God made an unbreakable covenant that assures you that you will never be forsaken or forgotten. All of the promises in the Word of God are proven to be true. They tell of your everlasting love relationship with God.

So what do you expect? Do you expect Them to turn Their back on Their promises? Do you expect Them to leave you powerless to overcome all of the challenges you face? Do you expect Them to leave when you are in need of Them?

Or do you expect Them to be your faithful, loving and powerful God and Savior empowering you by the Holy Spirit to be who you are called to be? Which do you actually expect to be there for you, and which are you basing your life upon?

What If?

What if God is Who He tells us He is in His Word? What if we can truly trust Him? What if His promises are real and always fulfilled, just like He said they would be? What if we can expect His supernatural intervention in our lives to accomplish the impossible? What if He is always there for us and will never leave us or forsake us? What if He is pleased with us no matter how many times we fail Him? What if He really desires to spend eternity with us?

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! And Wow!!!!

The Death of Intimacy

If you would like to make sure that you never create an intimate relationship with God, I have the perfect way to do it. Are you ready?

Get real busy. It doesn't matter what you become busy with. Just get busy. Even doing good things for the Lord—all the things that make you feel like you are truly doing something for Him, but replace spending time with Him—are sure to kill any intimate times of hearing His heart, knowing His directions for your life, and overcoming the world and its challenges.

Busyness is the perfect deception of the enemy. He loves to see the children of God so busy, even busy with good things, that they can't find the time to sit in God's presence. He knows that if Christians ever devote their time to cultivate an intimate relationship with their Lord, his hope of destroying their effectiveness is dead!

Aggressive Submission!

The words "aggressive submission" seem like they don't fit together, like it isn't a posture that any believer should take. However, when you understand the cross and the posture that Jesus took, they fit together perfectly.

In perfect submission to His Father and Their plans for all mankind, Jesus aggressively pursued the path to the cross. He was determined with all of His will to allow nothing to stop His purpose for coming into this world.

Now it's our turn. We are to aggressively submit to Jesus and the work of the cross. Along the way we might consider "unrelenting love" and "dying to ourselves" so that we might really live. Silly phrases to some, overcoming power to others!
