Never in the more than forty years of ministry have we seen more of an urgency to call the church of Jesus Christ to prepare as a bride would prepare. The earth is groaning, the players are in place, and the world is falling in line with the Biblical patterns foretold by Father God with remarkable accuracy. We see this timeframe as one of the most exciting times in the history of mankind and consider it a privilege to be part of God’s voice to those who can hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
More is required of us than ever before. As a faith ministry heralding the call to holiness, the moment-by-moment pressures to continue and our escalating ministry needs bring us to our knees before the Lord. Rarely do we make our need known, but the Lord has allowed us to ask for help at this point. We need committed prayer warriors who will present our ministry and mission to the Lord in their prayer closet on a regular basis. We also need help for mounting day to day operational costs.
Wow! I need to share something pretty incredible with you. It’s 4am as I write this. I completed the paragraphs above and was struggling with a combination of fear and pride about making this request when a text came through and my phone rang. It was a call from a friend doing mission work more than 7600 miles away in Zambia with a message he had been told by the Lord to give me. (Honest!) Among other things, he said the Lord just told him that I am not to be afraid to ask for help; that it’s not a lack of faith to ask. This encouraged me far more than I can express.
I’m rather overwhelmed at the moment and I sense I should go no further, at this time, in explaining all that is happening with us and our ministry needs. I’m just going to say, please help us by presenting our need before the Lord and ask Him if you are to play a part in supporting our outreach in any way. If you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer them. You can reach me at jim@awhitestone.com.
Thank you!
May the Lord bless you with His peace and purpose,
Jim Corbett
