Jesus was the image of His Father. Now we are to become the image of Him to the world.

Our privilege in life and the reason Jesus died and rose again was to establish an eternal covenant for us with His Father. In that covenant, Father God promised to do whatever it took to make us look and act like Jesus in a dead and dying world.

What's the point of the horrible death of Jesus, the cross and all it means, and the astounding resurrection if we don't submit to our Father's refining hand on us? Our goal should not be to live so God can serve us. It's to live and die to everything we once were by the power of the Holy Spirit!

Our society—and even believers—have obscured the line of what is valuable and what is not. It seems that judging something of real value has lost its value! (Huh?) Just think about it!

Having value once meant that something was of great consequence and truly purposeful. Now the term is nothing more than a whimsical sliding scale, changeable at the drop of a hat.

Back to basics. Whatever God places value on is truly of great consequence. Whatever He says is of no value is absolutely worthless. Clear and simple!

One of the hardest struggles I face is the idea that God is more focused on who we are becoming than on how much we do for Him. Everything I have ever been taught since I can remember was to make sure a task got completed or it didn't mean anything. The idea of simply waiting on God as my priority is foreign to my builder, task completer personality. I am so grateful that my Father in heaven is relentless against everything I used to be, so that He can make me all that I can be in Him.

Do you think if the Lord's people—those of us who are called by His Name—would humble ourselves and pray, and seek His face and turn from our wicked ways, He would hear us from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land?

Just wondering.

It's about time Jesus is lifted up in a manner He is worthy of! It's about time we, as His people, remind others Who He really is and what He's done! It's about time each of us remembers what this life is really all about! It's about time we get off the bench and help others find the freedom and love that is found in Him! It's about time you and I become a true witness to a dying world, empowered by the power of the Holy Spirit! It's about time to love as He loves!

It's just flat out about time!!!
