Maybe Tomorrow

After seeing the whole world change almost overnight recently, those words "maybe tomorrow" take on a whole new meaning. There may not be a tomorrow that allows us to do whatever we're putting off today. I'm convinced the Lord is putting into place all that He said He would, and maybe that day is tomorrow.

What do you need to do to be ready for tomorrow, whatever tomorrow brings? What do you need to do if tomorrow won't allow you to do it for whatever reason? Maybe you need to do it right now!

Wisdom

Since the rebellion Adam and Eve chose in the Garden of Eden could easily be classified as the ultimate act of ignorance, choosing the offer God makes to us through Jesus could just as easily be classified as a very wise and needed decision. It's the most important decision any of us will ever make. We can choose an eternal, loving relationship with the Creator of all things or we can choose to be separated from Him forever. If only everyone would pick the first option.

The Key!

The key to really knowing God is to pursue intimacy with Him. As believers, we have been invited into the throne room with Him to receive grace and mercy in our time of need. It's foolish to waste that amazing invitation. To do so proclaims our desire for independence, the direct path to weakness and confusion. Our loving Father has given us the invitation. If you haven't taken Him up on it so far, I ask you: "How's that working for you?"

Just Wait!

During these challenging times, I can sometimes almost hear those words coming from our Father. While we focus on all the changes and challenges that are part of our lives, our Father in heaven is attempting to get us to listen to what He's saying.

I'm convinced He's saying "Just wait! Wait til you see what I have in store for you. Just wait until you see Jesus face to face. Wait until you see the mansion that's been made specifically for you. If you wait just a little bit longer ..."

Yes, Lord

If you desire to grow in Christ, the words "Yes, Lord" will become the most important words in your vocabulary. Each time you express those words, you are expressing a heart of obedience. That's a good thing!

"Yes, Lord" means you not only agree to His wishes, but you accept His terms for any action He may request of you. A powerful walk with the Lord is a series of "yeses" with corresponding actions once you submit.
