Take Some Time

The most important thing any of us can do is take some time to wait on the Lord. No matter what kind of things seem more important, no matter how urgent the situation may appear, the most important use of our time is to sit quietly, listen to His heart, and wait for His presence and directions.

The idea of something being so urgent that we can't find time to be with Father God is the road to confusion, fear, and destruction. The enemy may attempt to convince us to move on logic or human wisdom in any situation, but Jesus provided us with a pattern for absolute safety. He did nothing of Himself but moved only in His Father's will. Great idea!

Time to Look Around

As a representative of Jesus Christ, it might be good to look around and see who is watching you to see who Jesus is. Is there someone who will be able to see His love because of the way you love? Could someone be watching you to see if He can be trusted?

You do know that your life—the things you do, the way you act, the way you deal with difficult circumstances are all amazing opportunities to proclaim out loud who Jesus really is. Your actions can be a visual representation of His life and the way He loved. What an incredible opportunity!

Look Past What You See!

The enemy is an expert in the art of confusion. He loves to send a volley of disinformation, rabbit trails, expert opinions, and whatever else that will confuse and divide the masses. He also loves to divide and conquer so groups are unable to present an organized front against his plans.

God's Word encourages us to look past anything we see in any situation, and seek what the Lord is doing. That takes spiritual eyes gained from being with Him.

There is a surety in knowing unchangeable truth. There is peace in the middle of chaos. There is freedom in the midst of binding fear. Spiritual vision, guided by the Holy Spirit, brings forth very clear days when everyone else is in the midst of violent storms.

Opinions

Every day we are faced with an onslaught of opinions. In fact, opinions are ruling the lives of many people because of the intense voice with which they're presented or the supposedly true statistics that accompany them.

As a person in Christ, you have the incredible opportunity to bask in absolute, unchangeable, proven fact. You have the freedom to rest in truth that will never change.

To become comfortable with basing life decisions on opinions, especially the opinions of others, seems foolish beyond words. It's a slippery slope to destruction. Now, more than ever, it is very important to be careful who we all listen to.

Repentance! What a Concept!

Unless simply dropped on a society, every true revival—one that changes that society—is a grace gift after that society repents. In the last few months, major changes have created opportunities for the body of Christ. These days are wonderful opportunities to present the amazing gospel to those looking for answers. That is a good thing!

I am convinced that as wonderful as it is to share the gospel, we must open our ears to another message our Father is loudly presenting to His church. It's repentance. Study 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Our land, whether that means our physical land or the "land" in each of us, desperately needs healing.

Repentance! What a Concept!
