3/11/22 The Answer to Every Question

“I know that you have heard this many times before, but I really am your answer. Whatever your question might be, the answer is still the same. Through Jesus, you have unlimited access to Me. Whenever you come to Me, I impart more of Myself to you. My nature is grace. My nature is mercy. Come to Me. I will give you what will fulfill your every need and answer every question you have. I love you.”

Ps. 120:1 AMP

IN MY distress I cried to the Lord, and He answered me.

Romans 3:22 NIV

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.

II Cor. 1:3-4 AMP

3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God [Who is the Source] of every comfort (consolation and encouragement),

4) Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God.

For thousands of years, the world was crying out for relief from their bondages; God gave them Jesus. He imparted His very nature as every answer to every question and need people had. He still answers all our requests in the same way. Once we understand that all of our fulfillment, all of our hope, and everything we need to fill any void we will ever have is in Christ, we will be free.

Jesus, we couldn’t make it without You!

3/11/22 The Offices of Husband and Wife

Taken from the book, The Father Factor

If God is no respecter of persons and considers everyone joint heirs and equal in value, then the minimizing of women in any way does not fit Who He is and what He has intended in His Word. However, the offices that He has intended for both men and women to provide structure to His plan for the family, rhyme with the beauty, love, and proper order that shows marriage to be the perfect representation of the relationship between Christ and His church as stated in His Word.

Picture the man as a structural beam or covering header that holds up a roof and the woman as a supporting pillar of that beam or header. The two, in essence, become one; and they need each other. The header (covering) cannot stand and function properly without a strong support pillar; it will collapse. Likewise, the pillar cannot fulfill its purpose without the beam overhead in place. The husband is intended to be the spiritual covering the wife needs to protect her from the torments of this world. The wife lifts her husband up and supports him so that he can fulfill his God-given office. Once a marriage covenant takes place, the heart of God is grieved when separation occurs between husband and wife. The relationship can’t function as God desires in that condition.

In scripture, the woman is to be subject to the office of the man, supporting it and submitting to its role. The word weaker is to be interpreted as secondary in the order established by God, not less important. Harmony occurs when both men and women subject themselves in Christ-like love to the offices (roles) each has been given, and become one in purpose as they provide a covering for their children.

Where there is a full understanding of the offices that God has established, dominance or the minimizing of the woman by the man is foolishness, and horribly destructive to the family structure if allowed to continue. Conversely, if the woman attempts to take on the role established for the man, disorder and confusion ensues for everyone in the family, whether it is recognized or not.

Either way, when the structure ordained by God is disrupted, the fortress that the family is intended to be becomes weakened and vulnerable to the onslaught of the enemy. He is relentless, insidious, and bent on destroying the family so that it doesn’t overcome the world as Jesus did. A weakened or nullified family structure gives little hope of providing children with the ability to pursue a significant spiritual life in Christ.

3/10/22 Deep Places

“In the coming times I ask you to seek out what I am doing in the secret places. It is not a place for the carnal follower of Jesus. I will share the deep places of My heart only with those who have proven themselves trustworthy over time. Prepare for many changes that lie ahead. Resolve in your hearts to make Me your priority or you will find yourself incapable of properly dealing with situations that come your way. You need to find My heart.”

Exodus 33:13-16 NIV

13) “If I have found favor in your eyes, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”

14) The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

15) Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.

16) How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”

Psalm 25:12 NIV

Who, then, is the man that fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.

Psalm 111:2 NIV

Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them.

Luke 12:1 NIV

Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.”

I am convinced that the Lord is removing the yeast of the Pharisees from His people. He is intense in His desire to bring us into a renewed relationship of absolute truth for those who will submit to His hand of training.

In these coming times, the only place to be is on His lap, listening to His heart, and implementing His wishes after deep communion with Him. Religious games are a thing of the past. I am convinced He will use only those who commit to deep communion with Him. Any other actions we take will be tainted with our fleshly desires and will show those around us how powerless our empty religious activities really are.

Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me, Lord,

3/10/22 Holy Alliances

As a remedy to the weakness and immaturity within the body of Christ and in preparation for the coming perilous times, God Himself is reestablishing the life and character of Jesus in His church through holy alliances, kinsman friendships, and covenant relationships. He is taking charge of the relationships that He plans to join together to accomplish His work in the near future. Becoming trustworthy and joining with those who are trustworthy is the pattern of the first century church. You will want to make yourself ready for this time by becoming a trustworthy follower of Jesus, if you desire to find favor within groups of significant people who are also trustworthy.

Men, in the coming, more-than-likely very challenging days - if you are trustworthy yourself - watch for specific people that the Lord will place in your midst as a holy alliance. If you are fickle, foolish, immature, and self-consumed in your relationships, don’t expect the Lord to bring holy alliances your way, because He will not allow you to harm His children and distract them from fulfilling His purpose for their lives. Until you repent of your ways and have a heart to live your life for the benefit of others and for the benefit of God’s plan, you will basically find yourself on your own or in league with others just like you. I would call these people the spiritually insignificant, cowering masses. It’s your choice.

If however, you desire to live the way Jesus lived, God will place you with others of the same Holy Spirit-inspired obedience and like-minded direction. You will be given the opportunity to enter into an unbreakable alliance with them, sealed, protected, and enforced by God Himself for the purpose of accomplishing specific tasks and Holy Spirit-led projects to further the Kingdom of God in these last days. It will be the most wonderfully fulfilling, remarkable time since the cross and the covenant heart of Jesus spilled out spiritual integrity over those who could receive it. Husbands and wives who understand that they have been joined together for far more than living in moderate harmony and success, business associates who have only the goals and desires of God as the basis for their association, friends who establish a covenant relationship in order to accomplish God’s plan for their lives will soon be the norm or survival will be non-existent for believers in need. Which life do you choose?

3/09/22 Full and Prosperous

“As you know, a treasure is whatever you hold close to your heart. When you treasure the things that are dear to My heart, I participate in them with you. My presence becomes part of what you treasure. Unlike the worldly lusts of your flesh that burn for a while and then fall away, the things We cherish together are eternal. If you really care about the things that I care about, I am free to flood you with more of My treasures and My desires. You are then free to gleefully involve yourself with the delights of My heart throughout your life and into eternity with Me.

"Seek to desire the things that are close to My heart with all your heart. Your days will then become full and prosperous as I pour Myself into your life. When others observe your life, they will see what I hold close simply because you hold it close, and you look like Jesus to them. They will also see what Jesus holds close. That is good! I treasure that kind of life.”

Psalm 37:4 NIV

Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Matthew 6:19-21 NIV

19) “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.

20) But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

21) For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

As we delight ourselves in the Lord, He places His desires in our hearts and then He fulfills them. When you think about it, what a wonderful promise of safety we have in Him. He promises that when we seek Him with all our hearts, we will find Him. When we find Him, we find answers for everything we need. If we follow His pattern, we can’t go wrong. Could it be then, that if we do find ourselves with unanswerable questions, we haven’t sought Him with the diligence that is needed to hear His heart?

Wanting to be close to my Father,

Jim Corbett
